| For those who are unfamiliar with nootropics, they are supplements/drugs that enhance memory/learning/concentration. Brief descriptions: CDP-choline: A more effective form of choline. Alpha-GPC: Another more effective form of choline. Some research indicates it is more effective than CDP-choline, but CDP-choline has a much more substantial research base. Bacopa: An inexpensive adaptogen, don't know much about it, but I believe it is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. May also raise thyroid hormone levels. Galantamine: An acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. Also has an effect on nicotinic receptors. Huperzine A: Another acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. I like it more than galantamine because it has less side effects, is more selective, and offers additional health benefits. Idebenone: This is a form of coenzyme Q10 that cannot become a pro-oxidant. A potent anti-aging nutrient. Relatively expensive. Picamilon: A modified form of GABA, supposed to be both simulating and anxiety-reducing at the same time. For those familiar with phenibut, this is similar. Vinpocetine: Increases cerebral blood flow, has other properties. |

| Maynard I'm interested in hearing more about galantamine... I found this at another site "NEW! GALANTHAMINE, aka galantamine, is an extract from certain flowers that helps the effectiveness of acetylcholine in the brain both by increasing its production and through improvement of its receptors. It stimulates those receptors without causing desensitization over time. Check galantamine on the web. One should work up over a few weeks to the usual dose of 8mg taken 2-3 times per day. Our powder extract is in a glutamine base and contains alpha GPC & vitamin B5. Price has gone up, but a month’s supply (24mg/day) sells elsewhere for $70-$100. One month supply 35 grams, $48.50. " Yikes 50 bucks for 35 grams? Interesting to note they have mixed alpha gpc and b5 in their powder though |

| Alpha-GPC should be the only contender for Choline supplementation, either as a part of a Choline cocktail pill or on it's own. As well these are all excellent choices for nootropics: Galantamine Idebenone Huperzine A Vinpocetine |

Hey, where's pramiracetam on the poll?  I heard it will be available soon from other websites... I had mixed results with vinpocetine alone, but it does synergize smoothly w/other nootropics and amino acids, so I'd give it another try. Idebenone too. Glad to see you got Aniracetam, I will order before you run out of stock! |

| In reply to Brandon29152: Bacopa rocks. And its dirt cheap. I pay $6.49 a bottle of 60 100mg pills at my local mom and pop nutrition store. I find it relieves my anxiety throughout the day. I can have a conversation with my company CEO like he's my best friend. I always had anxiety problems in the past. I take 300-500mgs per day. This is actually one of my favorite nootropics just because I know it's actually working while I don't know if the others are doing anything at all. My art teacher in college is from India and she said bacopa is HUGE there. |

| Voted Huperzine, but I'm interested in just about all of them. Especially if you carry them in bulk, just like you do with Piracetam, Choline and Gingko, which I use. Anyway, I'd get that and Vinpocetine for sure, and give the rest a try at the least. |

| Debaser, I, too, take bacopa, at the recommended dosage, (twice oer day, with meals). Have you tried using it more frequently to see if your dosage is optimal? Also, I haven't seen much dialog on the following: for any nootropics when to take, time of day, with or without meals how often to take during day (many are very short-lived) what not to take with (anything else competes for binding with active sites, inactivate absorption, etc) symptoms indicating lessening of efficacy, allergy, or unexpected reactions to these compounds |

| I voted Vinpocetine as well, merely for the sake of securing a stabilized bulk source without combined vit C or other filler. However, I'd very much rather find a bulk source for pyritinol. Pyritinol and picamillon or vinpocetine as a combo have been awesome (even when mixed with Huperzine A and Bacopa). |

300mg Bacopa + 500mg Rhodiola Rosea 1-2x day have helped my anxiety tremendously. Gives a nice calming affect but allows you to concentrate at the task before you. |

yeah, 2nd on the pram. You do realize that on nearly every forum, every week/month or so, someone says "where can I get Pram?", everyone else says "yeah, Ive been looking, and really like the stuff, but can't find it anywhere... would definetely buy it if there was a resonably priced source". Repeat ad infinitum, since 1.5 years ago, and continuing to this day. Is this powder impossible to make or something? I doubt it, since it has been on the supplement market before. This would be bought by a lot of people (myself included); hell, I'd tell them to come here and buy it. |

| i have quite a few and piracetam takes the cake for me. I think how you dosage it and how you take it is important to really get the benefits and that a good amount of those that say they get nothing from it is because they aren't maximizing the "how" to take it |

| I've changed my mind about the Pramiracetam because I recently read that the dosage is in the 100s of mgs. This, in my opinion, is too small of a dose for a supplement I am going to buy in bulk loose powder. Perhaps one of the lesser known racetams has a dosage that is more convenient to measure and cap. (I know that Oxiracetam and Aniracetam, which BulkNutrition carries have pretty good dosages, but I'd be more interested in other racetams. |

I've tried, sulbutiamine, Piracetam, Picamilon and I resently bought the Synergistic Program - Attention and Vigilance from Biogenesis AntiAging which came with the following substances: 1. Deprenyl: 2. Vinpocetine: 3. Acetyl-L-Carnitine: 4. Pyritinol: 5. Modafinil: 6. Vasopressin: 7. Nutritional Support: B-Complex Vitamins (including 100mg vitamin B1). We recommend Beyond Chelation Improved I have to admit that after almost $500 spent in this substances, I feel , I have been cheated out of my money, for I have not felt, nor gain, nor notice any improvement at all in my attention spam. So far, with the exception of Picamilon, I regard these substances as a complete waste of money. As a matter of fact, I have experience the opposite, dizziness, nauseous, extremely bad moods, inability to concentrate etc. All I beg of You is if you can better guide me in finding out a noot that will aid me in the visualization practice that I so desperately need to achieve, for my job demands that I developed a cutting edge visualization which I be able to focus and put all my attention in one thought and one thought only.
