HAs anyone ever used Pryuvate? If so does it help with fat loss and help build leaner muscles. I heard that it does .

Does it help? Yes, in clinical studies Pyruvate is wonderful for cutting and adding some LBM at the same time.

Problem - It's DAMN expensive if you want results. Most companies make it in about 750mg. capsules. 60 of 'em will cost you about $40.00 (maybe more). The amount of pyruvate used in the study (if you read it carefully) is about 40-50 GRAMS a day for about 6 weeks. do the math, that's going to cost you around....... $1700.00 (almost 1 bottle per day).

To add a correction to my previous post, I just found a bottle on this site that's 12.00 for 90 1000mg capsules (still not economical in any sense). I was unaware of this product, lol. Most other companies, though, do charge out the ass for it.

Actually a clinical study indicated 6 g/day pyruvate was effective for fat loss. Making it still expensive but not as much so.

Problem is this. Clinical studies have been very promising. But I haven't read a single piece of positive feedback. So it depends on which one you put more credence in.

Really, only 6g? All the ones I've read are outrageously high on the doses. Still, it is expensive.

I use it for cycling and think it does do something.I´m less stressed and think my capacity went up.It helps also to shred some fat off,but who knows if pyruvate is the thing while burning 2500kcals/day in a few hours*g*

you can get it quite cheap if you do some search on ebay i.e. .
Here in Germany i can get it for about 20€/300gr. .
