Hello,
I am coming off a 8 week cycle of Nutrex 1-TU and ErgoPharm 1-AD. My last 2 workouts for this cycle have given me pain in my upper arm above my elbows and around the center of my elbows. As an example I was doing flat bench barbell pullovers with 175 lbs. During the movement and after (lifting the bar onto the safety stands) I got this pain. I am guessing it is time to take 2 weeks off. My question is what kind of supplement I could use to combat the strain of training on my joints (elbow, tendons, ligaments, and so on...)? When I check your website I see all types of Chondroitrin and Glucosamine Sulfate. Is this what I should take to help with this elbow pain? I am guessing this is happening because the muscle is growing faster than the ligaments and tendons via the 1-TU and 1-AD. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Peter! |

I've taken a wide range of joint supplements due to a hereditary disposition to joint problems (in the knees). The Glucosamine + Chondroitrin combination didn't have any noticable effect.
I haven't suffered joint problems since supplementing with MSM and recommend trying it. You can also stack it with G/C. -Lite |

Hey Lite...can you shed some light (no pun intended) on what MSM is and what it does for joints? I have knee problems as well and am curious about this supplement.
My ex-g/f has been having good results with the glucosamine and have been looking at that as well. Don't expect it to work miracles for my knees, but looking for any help I can get. -------------------- Let us begin a revolution. I herebye place Skate at the helm. MSM has hundreds of associated health benifits. A comprehensive explanation of these benifits would be pretty time consuming, but among them MSM contributes to detoxification processes, increases blood circulation, prevents muscle cramps, increases permeability/reduced rigidity of cell walls (which occurs with age) and increases healing time of muscles; it is required for the creation of cysteine and methionine (a-aminos), insulin and choline; it is needed for carbohydrate metabolism and is an effective sulphur supplement, as it contains approximately 30% elemental sulphur; which is important since deficiency is fairly common due to a lack of uncooked green vegitables / grains in the diet. -Lite |

My wife is a runner, she has run 2 Marathons and has suffered from Knee Joint pain for years. She started taking a supplement Called Essential Renewal it has Hyalaronic acid in it which is what is supposed to lubricate our joints, well supposedly we lose it with age, (those who put more stress on joints lose it quicker) and supposedly this stuff restores it. Anyway she felt a phenomenal difference within the first two weeks, and has now gotten her mother on it to and she says that her arthritus feels almost gone.
Personally I cannot attest to how well it works but those two rave about it and being my wife I do trust her, so for what its worth this has helped them immensely. The website is www.fhtm.ws/ashley click on the TRUE ESSENTIALS logo at the left... then click "learn more"... its under PRODUCTS, and its called: ESSENTIAL RENEWAL WITH HA JOINT SOLUTIONS they offer a 30 day money back garantee so thats good. before you order it though there is a really interesting video by ABC NEWS there on the website about HA (Hyaluronic Acid) its worth watching if your going to order it. well hope I could be of help, Gavin S. |

I tried Chondroitrin and Glucosamine Sulfate combo for 6 months and felt no change. After switch to Glucosamine and MSM combo my knee pain was gone after 2 weeks. Now the problem with the knee is still there. So if I tried to run up or down stairs, and make sudden moves left or right I will still feel a twinge of pain. But doing heavy squats does not bother me as much since changing over to the Glucosamine and MSM combo. My shoulder pain hurts less also.
