Hi,

Recently i started taking a supplement called Reparagen for my arthritis. This product has allowed me to get off of the prednisone i was on for 10 years. The ingredients are Maca and Cat's Claw.

I would like to take this supplement indefinately, but do not know if the maca should be cycled. I know the reason maca is working is because of its effects to stimulate the pituitary gland and in turn increase IGF-1 in joints, which in turn causes repair. Because of this i am wondering if the product, or at least the maca should be cycled?

Any opinions?

Thanks

It doesn't need to be cycled. It's an herb, but is also a food product eaten daily in the Andes. Those tribes certainly aren't cycling it, so there's no need to do it.
