When i'm bulking I'll usually do a heavy shake with 2 scoops of whey, 8 oz skim milk, Tbsp of Natty PB, 1 cup of oatmeal, and a bannana.

It tastes GREAT! tongue.gif

If i'm slimming up i'll do just 4 eggwhites and one whole egg, scrambled and i'll just take my vitamins with some water and eat some oatmeal alone later in about 3 hours. If you separate fats and carbs they digest better and you get the nutrients in a more pure fashion... or so i've read.

6 days/week. Oatmeal/blueberry/protein pancakes with Crazy Richards natty peanut butter on top tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif
If it sounds good to you, I'll post the recipe.
The seventh day, I'll eat some real good scrapple that I get from a small meat processing market near by. The best in New Jersey-blue ribbon.

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs. —Thomas Jefferson, 1802

If it sounds good to you, I'll post the recipe.
The seventh day, I'll eat some real good scrapple that I get from a small meat processing market near by. The best in New Jersey-blue ribbon.

Right off my Word Doc files.

Oatmeal Blueberry Pancakes

¾-cup dry oats-Not instant
1-cup skim milk
2-egg whites
1-tablespoon olive oil
1-tablespoon brown sugar
1-cup whole wheat flour- or, ¾ cup whole wheat flour
+ ¼ cup flavorless protein powder (I use O.N. Any Whey)
½-tablespoon baking powder
Cinnamon- to taste
Blueberries. Fresh or fresh frozen (just blueberries).

Mix the oats with milk, egg whites and brown sugar. Add whole wheat flour (and protein if used), baking powder and oil, mix together with spoon. Let stand overnight in Tupperware to soften mix.

Spray griddle or pan with PAM and go to work. Medium heat, don’t cook too fast. Put ½ cup of batter and some blueberries into cup and mix. Pour onto hot skillet, don’t burn it. This makes 1 nice size pancake.

I like to top with Crazy Richards natural peanut butter. Stir peanut butter to mix oils well and refrigerate to keep from separating. Natural peanut butter does not contain sugar or trans fatty acids (bad fat).

Yield: 3 nice size pancakes
1 pancake= approx. 280 calories If protein is used
47 grams of good carbs. 38 gr
8 grams protein 17 gr
7 grams of good fat. 7 gr

Crazy Richards PB calories per 2 tablespoons 190

Do you eat a whole cuppa dry oats, or is that what it comes out to after you cook them? Just wondering, cuz after you cook a whole cup of dry oats, you got a shitload of oatmeal.

I measure them dry.

Just add a little bit of water and nuke for about 70 seconds and eat up!

I eat this amount on weekends when I'm home and have time. Doesn't take long at all. The trick is to use a flavored oats packet and then add regular oats. Taste good as shit that way.

As a young lifter, I remember going into the gym and seeing some really big, strong dudes lifting heavy weights, clapping chalk, and making a lot of noise. The music playing on the stereo made you want to work out the moment you walked inside. This has been replaced by a bunch of pencil neck “trainers” with extra-medium muscle shirts and small shorts running around with clipboards having their clients balance on top of a swimming pool ball, juggle dumbbells, and recite their ABCs backwards. - Paul Caldwell
