you wont even think about eating jack shit suprisingly I did not lose nearly as much muscle as I thought I would have, the weight seemed to come off the places where I had the most fat. Granted I went from 5"11 169 to 157, the muscle for the most part stayed in tact Well no shit you wont get your tonsils out to lose the weight (at least I hope you dont, the word pain isnt good enough for this procedure if you are an adult getting it done) BUT I learned a great lesson in caloric intake and how it can affect weight loss. If your goal is weight loss at any point, I dont recommend not eating since thats just not healthy, but eating high protein and following all the great diets on this board along with COUNTING CALORIES will get you there. I tried SO hard for 6 months to drop that last 5 lbs and I could never and I ate SO clean, but I did eat alot and didnt bother counting. Stuffing your face with healthy food is still stuffing your face I know alot of people know this already, but I just thought id share. Count your calories. |

i never count my calories and have lost 35lbs in 16 weeks.
thats actual fat too not just water and glycogen that u lost is 8 measily days |

want to share? I mean, granted you werent 300 pounds to begin with and lost fat that was dieing to leave at the first chance of you making a major lifestyle change.
Ive kept the weight off since Ive regained my ability to eat and work out by just watching how much I eat as opposed to before. I was not able to drop below a certain point hitting the gym 4 times a week and doing 3 fasted cardio/week with my old clean diet. Id be interested in hearing your way, share! EDIT: not interested in stacks, either. any good ol' fashioned diet/workout tips? |

i can lose 10+lbs in 1 day. its all from water and glycogen. i dont really see the point of this thread.
share? i eat 6 -8 clean meals a day on a high protein, low carb diet. a little carb loading. i workout 5-6 times a week. i do hiit cardio 4-5 times a week either before eating in the morning or post workout. pretty much the same thing most people that know what they are doing do when cutting. i dont count calories. i was never 300. i was 270 and now i'm 235ish. 225 after 2 consecutive carb depleted days. |

Another way you could lose that much weight in a short time, though it still is a bit unhealthy, but not as unhealty as not eating, is a low-carb diet. Just eat a couple of pieces of wheat bread a day, and for the rest I would just eat tuna, salads (small low fat, low carb dressing) apples, oranges, little bit of beans, etc. You lose ridiculous amount of weight like that lol.

No one here wants to "lose weight." We bodybuild, the term weight means nothing to us. Losing body fat is what matters and while wiring my jaw shut would help me lose weight i'd look like an aids patient

losing body fat is part of losing weight. when you cut dont you lose pounds? did everyone skip over my badmouthing the whole not eating thing and just not read the stuff I mentioned about the good diets found on here and watching your calories when trying to cut?
Ive read on here more times than not about those wanting to shed the pounds prepping for contests or just wanting to be more lean.. is counting your calories not part of that. granted I assume there are different ways to go about it I suppose.. goodskie - I assumed as much, thats alot of training These are @ 158.5 and after 1 month of no lifting or cardio. yea I lost some muscle, but im not a stick... and yes I will be gaining it back I never said I enjoyed losing the muscle the thread was about calories. yall are just used to 6"0 240 and like ive always said ive never been a fan, id rather be more lean. And yea whatever this is a Bulk forum for the most part but I stand by the fact that I have found more useful health tips here than anywhere else. [B] ANYWAYS. you did state that u lost 12lbs in 8 days and that it came off your fatty areas. water, glycogen and i bet no fat or 2lbs tops.
of course u kept your muscle. it was 8 days. my point, other than letting you know that u didnt lose a bunch of fat, was that it can be done without counting cals. counting is better i'm sure and def better for a show. but a lot of us arent doing shows. btw i just pissed out 12 lbs and i look WAY FUCKIN LEANER MAAAN. try making real progress and then posting results and what u did maybe. |

I didnt think about water loss/glycogen aspects of it all, I just saw a flatter stomach and my jeans were alot looser. To learn is the reason im here and why I post and read and respond.
