You'll have tons to do there and you're only a stone's throw from NY, Baltimore, DC, Boston, etc. if you want to check out other things, too. The main drawback to living out that way is cost of living, but w/ free rent, the majority of that is gone.

The winters will be tougher than FL, of course, but won't be THAT bad. It's not like you'll be in Minnesota or the Dakotas, etc. I grew up in PA. and winters were a bit of a hassle, but not all that bad.

Since everyone's talking about teams, you can always become a Steelers fan, now that you're in PA. It wouldn't be a far drive to check out games there.
