I was at this game. Wright hit the go-ahead RBI over Johnny Damon's head, then Wagner came in and K'd all three batters to close it out. One of the best games I've ever attended.

On December 5, 2006, during the MLB Winter Meetings, Bannister was traded from the New York Mets to the Kansas City Royals for relief pitcher Ambiorix Burgos to help strengthen the Mets' bullpen.
