| i'm looking to pick up some equipment for at home. I don't have enough for a power cage right now so I was thinking of maybe just picking up a kettlebell. think a kettlebell would be sufficient to get a decent bulking workout? |

A lot can be done w/ a single kettleball. You may want KBs of varying weight, though. Do you have enough room to press a BB over your heard (ceiling height)? An olympic BB, a set of plates, and some kettleballs would be great. Deadlifts, power cleans, overhead presses, push presses, etc. All can be done with a simple BB and some weights. |

Couldn't agree more. Just get yourself a barbell and some weights, and your set |

| LoL @ 1 kettleball. You need a bench w/leg extension, ham extension, squat catch and a Lat tower olympic barbell olympic dumbells (2) olympic Curved EZ bar olympic plates Extras: Gloves belt straps |

| keep an eye on craigslist maybe for a cheap set of weights and a bench.. i don't know what you're going to do with a kettleball. I'd get a bench and an adjustable dumbell and barbell set |

Cause you gain the most mass by doing lat pulldowns and leg extensions. Duh! |

It would make a kickass door stop! |

You can do just about anything w/ a kettle ball that you can do w/ a DB and more. |

You know what, you're right. He doesnt need any equipment to develop his legs. All this guy needs is a pillow case stuffed with various items he finds around the house. (bricks, cans of soup, books) I mean if the dudes on D-Block can get big that way, im sure he can as well. For added effect, he can sharpen a toothbrush down to a razor point and stash it between his buttcheeks while he works out....just in case shit pops off while he's gettin diesel in his cell. |

Last I checked, you don't need a leg extension or curl machine to work your legs. |

You're right, he doesnt....But the bottom line.....Post up a pic of your wheels. I guarantee mine look better. kettle balls arent going to fully develop his legs. Neither will squats. Squat heavy all day, it wont develop your quads the way curling will. He may not "need" it, but if he's gonna buy a bench, he may as well look into a bench with some extras. Save up your money and get a bench. thats my advice. or join a gym. |

You are right... I love smashing my quads on the leg curl machine. You sound ridiculous. But, you know that already. |

| well i made my point. put your money where your mouth is. lets see how huge those kettle balls are getting you bro lol |

Do you share your single brain cell with anyone else? He implied that he was strapped for cash. Put my money where my mouth is? |

| a bench is not going to break the bank. Secondly, im just saying....you're obviously lacking in your physique. hence your attempt at dismissing my previous comment. Your diversions, as clever as you think they are, arent swaying me from what i already know. |

No, a bench won't. But, he said he couldn't afford a simple cage - how is he going to afford a bench with all the sweet attachments and lat tower? I think that was his main point. OP, correct me if I'm wrong. |

| you're both right. small legs without squats. no shape without extentions. he should join a gym. you two should have a pose off |
| Posted by: willpiazza31 May 11 2008, 12:01 AM |
| You are all retarded. He just needs a fitness ball and some resistance bands. |
| Posted by: ShakesAllDay May 11 2008, 12:03 AM | ||
If he is working out at home and wondering about a kettleball, I doubt he is worried about 'shape'. Are you guys planning on being pro bodybuilders, or what? |
| Posted by: Jayv24 May 11 2008, 12:05 AM |
| you want a body like this? i got it from swinging a kettle ball around in my garage. gimme a break. |

| kettle balls arent bad for some things....but legs? ehhhh |
| Posted by: ShakesAllDay May 11 2008, 12:16 AM | ||
I'm not sure anyone recommended kettleballs specifically for leg training. I suppose you could do jump squats with them if that's all you had. |
| Posted by: Jayv24 May 11 2008, 12:18 AM | ||
how dare you belittle the kettle. whats next? you're gonna bad mouth the medicine ball? |
| Posted by: goodskie May 11 2008, 01:05 AM | ||||
ya u could do that. who even cares we're all noobs |
| Posted by: alexoc949 May 11 2008, 02:03 AM | ||||
sure, but it's one weight.. if you're serious.. you need to add weight to your workout every week.. not gonna happen with a kettleball |
| Posted by: alexoc949 May 11 2008, 02:05 AM |
| kettleballs are ridiculous dude.. get some weights |
