I've been looking into DSMO for use as a penetration enhancer/transdermal carrying agent, but am somewhat concerned about the odor in formula?s using a 70% concentration. Since MSM is, from my understanding, only an extra Oxygen molecule away from DMSO--will it cross the skin as well?
I found one source that said "perhaps it would" (and without the odor) and another that said perhaps it won't--hence I am certainly in the dark. Which of course leads to the next issue, turning MSM powered into a liquid or gel (dissolve in distilled water or alcohol)? Ronn |

I don't think it is, or at least I haven't seen anything indicating that it is an effective penetration enhancer.
