That's quite a transformation! Just out of curiosity, how much did you weigh before the accident? Have you been on meds for the thyroid condition?

That's quite a transformation! Just out of curiosity, how much did you weigh before the accident? Have you been on meds for the thyroid condition?

i weighed about 160

i was taking levoxyl at 100 mg for my thyroid the entire school year up until about the end of may....i just went to the dr on wed. to get blood drawn for a check on my thyroid

the results should be back by next wed. so i guess we'll see then what happens

you might be wondering why i stopped taking it, i just finished a bottle of it and wanted to see how i could do with out it, thats pretty much it. my parents thought i should stay on it, but they figured it was my choice, so i stopped for a little while

I had the same reaction as everyone else.

You look 300 times healthier in the second pics.

What were you stats before the crash?

thanks again fellas

my stats before the accident were

6'2"
in the 160 range

i lifted before the accident, but never seriously, or for more than a few months at a time. it was more of a social thing to me, i would go with my friends and talk, and lift a little weight

now im 110% dedicated and it has become my life style

Jaw drop time!

The only way you could have gained that mass back at that rate, with relatively low bf accumulation, was by strict dieting.

At first, I didn't understand why, until you mentioned the before accident weight.

You can easily pack on a good 25 additional lbs of muscle to look like an animal.

Did you remember my advice to doc2b about thyroid drug alternatives?

You can take dessicated raw thyroid, and use thyroid support supplements - a combination that repeatedly outperformed synthetic T4 activity.

You also should consider the addition of selenium and gugglesterones, in low doses, to your supps. They has been to help with T4-->T3 conversion, which is often the rate limiting step for thyroid hormone activity in those who have normal TSH.

You're probably going to need something to augment thyroid function, as you have been suppressing natural production while on the leveroxyl.

I also suggest you consider taking dessicated thymus (same source, Premier Labs out of NZ, has a tightly vetted and controlled herd, which meets MY paranoia checklist for viral control (BSE). 1-2 caps of each per day, first thing in the morning, with other supps before breakfast.

Your thymus probably took a hell of a beating from the long recovery time AND your dysfunctioning thyroid will be under the same brain hormone production controls, meaning if one is running on low throttle, the other may well be too.

Way to go, 'Stallion!
