I know this was discussed before and someone shared a few recipes on how to make their own protein bars... I just cant find the thread someone help
I want to add oatmeal or chocolate chips to the mix.I have flavored (chocolate) or unflavored protein. I have fructose powder along with maltodextrin,MCT powder, flax and yolk protien powder, Id like to make a slow digesting carb source bar with fast release protein. Maybe .any help would be greatly appreciated
(such as how many eggs how much milk and butter)

Ok i found the recipe
3 Cups Oatmeal
1/2 Cup Natural Peanut butter
1 cup Skim Milk
4 Scoops Protein Powder
dash of cinnamon

Mix with a large spoon or knife until a sticky batter is formed (may take a few minutes)

use the spoon or knife to spread out the mix into the bottom of a glass or metal cooking tray (spread until even)

top with 4-8 packets splenda

put in the fridge overnight and cut into 8 equal bars that yield:

11g fat (good monounsaturated fats)
26g carbs
21g protein

285 calories

I plan to modify the recipe and add 1 scoop of yolk powder and 1 scoop of MCT powder

I tried this recipe before. They came out pretty good.

Of course I hate cooking and baking so I didn't make them again. Too many dirty dishes to clean and shit.

tasted like crap but tasted good????not sure i follow on that one..

I used to make bars but they had so many carbs that i had to eat them for breakfast, usually put some in a bowl and covered in milk, they were pretty good, but like will said a hassle

Threads kinda old, but I was wondering if anyone knew a good sugar free chocolate mixture I could make to dip the bars in as theyre kinda soft and arent really good for taking on the go. I guess just melting chocolate chips in a pan and dipping them, but is there something I can add to the mix that would make the chocolate dip a little softer like retail protein bars are?

laugh.gif of all threads to dig up you had to use this fucksticks. For future reference if you see that ugly ass face the info is probably useless. For your question, check for sugar free chocolate at the store (the melting kind).
